The Ask
DigitalOcean is a hosting & cloud service provider growing a global community of people who are driven to build in the cloud. DigitalOcean gained momentum as the "developer's playground" by empowering individuals who turn their ideas into reality. After its IPO in 2021, DigitalOcean knew that the potential of its product goes far beyond the playground and could serve a much larger audience of users in the SMB market. It needed to elevate its brand to reach a new audience without sacrificing existing love and brand equity.
The Answer
Working closely with executive leadership and its strategic business objectives, we aligned on the need for updated messaging, strategic positioning, and a visual identity system that brings consistency and creativity to its existing and prospective customers. We built this new system around a singular call-to-action and rally cry for their customers: Get Growing.
